Structural Assessment Of Foundation Of The Jaslok Hospital ,Mumbai

The Existing building of Jaslok Hospital comprises of Ground + 20 Floors + Terrace. The building is more than 50 years old. At present, the concerned authorities of Jaslok Hospital Building wanted to check the part foundation of the building to verify the extent of distress by conducting Non-destructive tests, design and suggest bill of quantities for the repairs. In response to this, a detailed field Assessment work was carried out during 15^th Mar 2023 to 16^th Mar 2023. Visual Inspection of the RCC Foundation to identify distresses randomly and marking the same on as built drawings. All kind of NDT test conducted such as Rebound Hammer, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Testing, Carbonation, Half-Cell Potential, Core Compression, Chemical Analysis. Based on NDT and core test results, conducting analysis to check the current level of stability as per current loading conditions and applicable codal provision for seismic Stability. Verification of quantities in line with earlier BOQ as furnished by us and recommending of any addition based on restoration measures based on current level of stability required.
